The Lean Management seminar was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding in Zagreb within the framework of activities conducted by the Technology Transfer Center – Zagreb, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
Among the lectureres was Mario Rovan, M. Sc., head of the project in the Department of Development and Investments at Bshipyard Trogir. More on the seminar itself with more than 70 participants from the private and state sector can be found here
The presentation on Brodotrogir's restructuring program being based on the Lean concept was very well received by the seminar participants for two reasons; the first one being that it represents a rare example of applying the Lean concept in Croatia, and the second one being that with its content and evaluation of design solutions it significantly surpasses the common procedure of applying Lean.
