The existing fleet of Arsen Ercegović from Krilo Jesenice, owner of the Orkan d.o.o. company, was expanded by the addition of Hull 345, built in our shipyard.
It is an Adriatic cruise ship, 46 m long and 8.5 m wide, which, after outfitting and full reconstruction, will be able to accommodate 36 passengers in 19 fashionably decorated cabins, and provide the services of 6 crew members.
"In spite of the business problems and challenges which have to be dealt with daily, my family and I are proud of this newest project of ours. However, our investment activities will not cease after its delivery and acceptance, since we have signed, with Brodotrogir, i.e. Hrvatska brodogradnja Trogir d.o.o., a contract for the construction of another vessel with identical characteristics, whose completion we expect by the end of this year“—owner Arsen Ercegović said.
The ships of the Orkan company sail on the route from Trogir to Dubrovnik or Zadar, depending on the wishes of the guests who book the cruises through the ID Riva Tours travel agency. According to the owner, the passengers most frequently choose the route to Dubrovnik, but depending on their wishes, the ship may also sail to Zadar.
The ship was built under the supervision of the Croatian Shipping Register, according to the rules and regulations for passenger ships. It was lowered into the sea using a travel lift with a lifting capacity of 600 t, the biggest of its kind in the Adriatic. As planned, the ship is headed for the final outfitting and expected to set sail and take on the first guests during August.
