After the Croatian Shipbuilding Corporation Trogir d.o.o. signed a contract in July for the construction of a cruise ship with the Nova Rust d.o.o. company from Split, the cutting iron metallurgy started today.
To be more specific, the ship under construction will have the overall length of 46 m, the width on the main deck of 8.9 m and the baseline height of 3.9 m. It will be built based on regulations and under supervision of the Croatian Shipping Register, according to the rules for passenger ships.
This is another ship from the Travel and Excursion Fleet Programme for Croatian private operators whose objectives are entrepreneurship development on the coast and the islands, as well as tourism development through organised multiple-day cruises.
