The big Dock 15 has accommodated Brodosplit's Hull 780 – a cruise ship designed, according to its original construction, to sail rivers, which is now being converted to a cruise ship for coastal sea navigation.
Immediately after docking began the installation of a double bottom. Counting the one already installed, after the completion of the works in the dock, which will last approx. 2 months, it will be a ship with a treble bottom, which will ensure the necessary hull strength, and thereby, safe sea navigation.
The docking plan was developed jointly by SCT and Brodosplit employees. The ship is being converted by Brodosplit employees, while Service Centre Trogir is providing general services, energy, water, compressed air, cranes, as well as the Fumija floating crane which will transfer the necessary assembly sections from the sea.
The cruise ship is 105 m long and 16 m wide. As part of the conversion, 82 cabins on four decks will be luxuriously furnished and able to accommodate 160 passengers who will have at their disposal 69 crew members located in 39 cabins.
