The motor yacht Beluga has sailed in small DOCK 4 for its annual general overhaul. During the overhaul, the hull will be protected, the zinc anodes will be replaced, and the propeller shaft inspected, the anchor straightened and works will be carried out on the heat exchanger and underwater valves.
The yacht was built by Timmerman Yachts in 2014. It is 44.7 m ling, and 9.2 m wide, and sails under the flag of the Cayman Islands. It has two Caterpillar engines, each with a power of 1074 KW, which achieve a top speed of 13 knots.
Its five luxury cabins can accommodate ten guests when the yacht cruises the Mediterranean during the summer. If the guests so desire, it can go even beyond the Mediterranean, which is not a problem considering its level of equipment and the comfort it provides. The sunbathing area, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room and other facilities provide countless possibilities for enjoyments during the cruise, and the sophisticated interior design lives up to the expectations of the most demanding guests.
A smaller intervention will be carried out on the bitumen carrier Asphalt Summer. The generators and all three auxiliary engines will be serviced, the cargo screw pumps inspected, the crane hydrocilinders dismantled, the insulation renewed and machinist's works on the deck carried out.
The ship was built in 2007, it is 117 m long and 19 m wide, currently sailing under the flag of Cyprus. It should leave the shipyard by the end of this month, on Monday.
