Santa Claus sailed into Marina Trogir today, bringing joy and happiness to numerous children.
Escorted by their kindergarten and school teachers, parents, grandmothers and grandfathers, children had arrived at the Marina Trogir in order to welcome the Santa Claus, and enjoyed the programme prepared by the members of the Trogir Amateur Theatre and the little Seget Majorettes.
As soon as they entered the Marina, there was a surprise. A large passageway was made of many colourful balloons in the shape of a ship and everybody would stop and have their picture taken.
Santa Claus sailed in on a ship, and his calling to port was announced noisily by shipyard sirens. He waved cheerfully and prepared his large red bag in which he had put sweets for the children. The children watched impatiently as the Santa Claus's ship was being moored at one of the pontoons - they could not wait for him to join them. After arriving on the stage, he happily greeted them and started giving away sweets with the help of good fairies, his faithful companions.
At one point, the sky was covered by a thousand colourful balloons and silver confetti, which was a truly unique experience. Little children's hands and pockets were full of sweets and balloons, and their joy was immeasurable.
As soon as this programme was over, a procession was formed and started walking towards the slipway, where the launching of the Hull 325 was in preparation. The long line was led by the little Seget Majorettes, the Trogir Folk Music, the carriage with the Santa Claus and good fairies, and all the children and their accompaniment.
