New-build 322 left for Malta yesterday morning.
Some 100 employees of the shipyard, professional crew and anti-corrosion protection subcontractors attended docking. Weather permitting, the ship should stay at the Palumbo Shipyard Malta Ltd. Shipyard for ten days. Apart from grinding, sanding, painting certain parts of the ship, the workers will also work on the deck, in the engine room and in the sleeping quarters, test equipment and prepare the ship for trial sailing.
