Job Fair is a manifestation held during this month in 22 cities throughout the country, and this year’s 3rdJob Fair was opened by the representatives of Splitsko-Dalmatinska County, at the Hotel Resnik in Kaštel Štafiliæ on 2nd March.
The exhibitors were from the area of Trogir, Kastela, Solin and Split, which included Brodotrogir, Brodosplit, the Croatian Ministry of Defence, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, Strojopromet, Marina Kastela, the Hotel Pasike and others.
Educational institutions, such as the Croatian Employment Service, Suvremeno Uèilište Split (Contemporary Educational Institution Split) and others, presented their programs in accordance with the needs of employers and the local job market.
The workshop “The Importance of Skills for the Success on the Job Market” was held as a part of the fair, including a round table discussion on the subject “How a Psychologist May Assist in Selecting Employees?”.
Miroslav Delic, the head of the Croatian Employment Service, District Service Split, declared that he was satisfied with citizens’ attendance on the fair.
