Klaus Holsen and Dominik Obertreis, German photographers who work for Salzgitter AG, a well-known German producer of steel containers, sections, and steel cables, spent 4 and 5 February shooting pictures at Brodotrogir.
The specialty of the two photographers, who are at the top of the profession of industrial photography, is photographing large projects around the world in which steel is the construction material. Impressed by learning how ship sections are made from the smallest steel details, and how these are transformed into a large ship, Holsen and Obertreis expressed their gratitude to everyone in the shipyard for allowing them to photograph here. They mentioned that their pictures from the Trogir shipyard will certainly find their way into several global publications, especially in the yearbook of the company for whom they prepared them.
