On Sunday 26 November 2006, the newbuilding no. 315 was launched, the first ship from the series of eight contracted ships for the owner Eitzen Chemical (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
Upon launching newbuilding no. 315, chemical and oil tanker of 46,190 dwt for the owner Eitzen Chemical (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., the biggest world maritime company for carriage of chemicals, and on void place the keel was laid for newbuilding no. 316, the second contracted ship.
The ships are built under supervision of the Classification Society Lloyd's Register of Shipping. Design for this ship is made in Shipyard Trogir as a result and confirmation of a high level of professional knowledge and long term experience of Shipyard Trogir experts, known worldwide for their international recognized and awarded designs, such as Trogir design.
Naming ceremony will be performed on delivery of the vessel.
On behalf of the owner the launching ceremony was attended by representatives to the Classification Society Lloyd's Register of Shipping, accompanied by the Shipyard Management representatives and employees.
