The motor vessel Monet owned by Brodosplit has sailed into the large dock 15. In the next dozen days, it will have its damages on the shell plating repaired. Also, an overall cleaning and painting will be carried out and its zinc anodes will be replaced. Its ballast tanks and fuel tanks will be repaired, the bearings in the stern tube replaced, two propeller shafts, both propellers and rudder plate, together with its rudder shaft, will also be removed and re-installed.
Monet was built in 1970 in the Bulgarian Varna in the shipyard Georgi Dimitrov under the name Yushar and since then until 1997 it was sailing in the North Sea as a passenger and cargo ship, when it was converted into a cruise ship in the Vranjic Brodoremont. Two years ago, it was purchased by Brodosplit, which began to refurbish and overhaul it to prepare it for more cruises.
