Today the Shipyard Trogir d.d. performed the turn-over of the chemical tanker the Amorino, launched in July last year, and built for the company in the group Laurin Maritime AB – Siteam Navigator Shipping Co.Pte.Ltd.
The vessel was named the “Amorina” according to an Argentinian film from 1961, dealing with the subject of the Argentinian tango, as a constitutive part of the Argentinian culture. Amorino in Spanish means love, and the family Laurin cherishes great love for ships and seafaring.
The transfer documents in the name of the ship owner were signed by Bo Walter, head of the inspection team of the orderer at shipyard Trogir, and on behalf of shipyard Trogir Mateo Tramontana, CEO.
