After visiting the blood donation promotion, the representatives of the blood donation volunteers (DDK) from the island of Brac in company of Mr. Kolja Šantiæ, President of the Association of Blood Donation Volunteers (DDK Trogir), visited the shipyard in Trogir and the members of the Association DDK of Brodotrogir. It is about the return visit and the mutual exchange of thoughts and experiences since our representatives of blood donation volunteers were the guests of their colleagues from Braè in April this year. The inhabitants of Braè are the first in the County of Split-Dalmatia when it comes to the number of blood donations in ratio to the number of inhabitants, respectively out of one hundred inhabitants on the island of Braè, every fifth one is a blood donation volunteer.

„We are satisfied having been your guests. Thank you for everything, and the only thing we can tell you is to return our visit“, the visitors from Braè told to their hosts from Trogir in the end. The representatives of the Association of Blood Donation Volunteers DDK Trogir as well as the representatives of the Club DDK of Brodotrogir awarded, to the Trogir shipyard, what they stressed at the end of today’s gathering, the Badge of gratitude as a sign of the acknowledgement for this aspect of humanitarian work at the beginning of June this year and anent the fortieth anniversary of their work and efforts in this field of humanitarian activities.
